LipSense was never something I thought I'd get into. I thought it was too expensive; I thought I was happy enough with my $7 ColourPop liquid lipsticks. Until I tried it. I never realized how much smudge-proof, transfer-proof, and longevity mattered to me until I had all of those things in one product.
Trying out LipSense can be daunting; there are so many color options! So, I've compiled my top 5 choices, and the options I suggest to new customers. If you're new to wearing lipstick: Beige Champagne Beige Champagne is a warm-toned frosty nude color. It is a great everyday color and is perfect for layering to tone down darker colors. If you're going to work: Praline Rose Praline Rose is a beige with a hint of mauve. I would wear this to dinner with the in-laws or a job interview. It makes me feel very put together. If you're having a girl's shopping day: Caramel Apple This is a very wearable frosty pink. I was so averted to wearing pink lipstick before, but this tone is flattering on so many skin tones! A little more fun than the others without being too "in your face", if you know what I mean. If you're going to a meeting: Bella Bella is a matte brownish-mauve that is a little more bold without being too dark for work. This color also gives me 90's Rachel Green/Friends vibes. If you're going on a date: Sheer Berry This beautiful color has a sheer matte finish with an understated berry tone. I love wearing this with skinny jeans and a sassy jacket. If you're new to LipSense, which of these would you like to try? If you're a LipSense veteran, what is on your Top 5 list?
